Ventura Advanced Surgical Associates’ headquarters is located at 3200 Telegraph Road, in Ventura California. Our 6500 square foot facility was designed to accommodate the needs of our bariatric, general surgical and sleep medicine patients. Our lobby is open and spacious allowing for comfortable waiting with two large-screen TV’s, water dispenser and easy access to our front office staff. Educational updates, support group news and schedules are all easily accessible.
Consultations are provided in one of seven spacious exam rooms. Additional services offered include cardiopulmonary testing, sleep medicine evaluations with overnight sleep lab, bone density testing, Cutera Laser System, pre and postoperative educational seminars, pre and postoperative nutritional classes andmonthly support groups.

A recognized “Center of Excellence,” St. John’s is a participating hospital in the Blue Cross “Centers of Expertise” as well as the Blue Shield “Bariatric Quality Initiative” program. Similarly, HealthNet developed a Bariatric Network of certified hospitals of which St. John’s is a recognized bariatric facility. HMO and PPO patients under the HealthNet plan can receive their bariatric surgery close to home at St. John’s Regional Medical Center. St John’s has been offering bariatric surgery since 2003. Community Memorial Hospital: 147 North Brent Street, Ventura California
Conveniently located in downtown Ventura, Community Memorial Hospital has recently been designated a bariatric center under the California Kaiser Permanente Medical Group. Together with Ventura Advanced Surgical Associates, Community Memorial Hospital will become a key bariatric and minimally invasive facility for patients enrolled with Kaiser and other health plans.
