Support Group Upcoming Schedule
Ventura Advanced Surgical Associates offers 4 monthly support groups to help our patients achieve their weight loss and life style goals. Support groups meet in our Ventura and Thousand Oaks offices from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Please look at the support group calendar below. Monthly topics have included information and discussion on protein intake, ordering and eating out, weight loss plateaus, exercise plans taylored for bariatric patients, sugar substitutes, options for removing excess skin after weight loss, and adjusting to your new shape. Our support groups are led by one of our Certified Bariatric Nurses and feature quarterly guest speakers.
